----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello
Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant,
I'm hosting an ongoing discussion group forum for administrative professionals. I would like to invite you to join it. Be a part of a
discussion or start one there. Help out a colleague with your knowledge
and expertise or get help from a colleague there.
This group is primarily for executive assistants, administrative assistants, and
administrative professionals of all titles and job levels.
| Join more than 4,000
of your administrative colleagues already in the group. |
You can start and join
discussions relevant to administrative professionals there.
You can network with and support
your peers there.
You can get help with your
on-the-job performance and career management as an administrative
professional there.
You can simply start off by
introducing yourself there (which is totally optional).
Of course, the best thing to do
when you first join is to silently look around to get a feel for the group
and the discussions. Then when you're ready, jump in and join the
discussions or post your own questions for your colleagues.
SPAM FREE GROUP:
I moderate this discussion group
to keep all spam out -- so the "discussions" tab area of the group is for
dialogue (people talking to each other --and those people are mostly
administrative professionals). Discussions are and should only be directly related to
administrative assistants and executive assistants work performance and
career management.
Discussions are for administrative professionals who are employed and
looking for help on the job or in their careers, as well as for those
admins who are not employed and are looking for job search tips.
There is no clutter in the group
from people posting links to articles or blogs or any of that in the
discussions area. I delete off topics when I see them including sales
pitches, members linking to articles on and promoting their blogs, and all
discussions not relevant to administrative professionals on-the-job
performance and career management. This is a "professional group" for
members to discuss job performance issues and careers for administrative
professionals who work on site for employers.
SEE YOU THERE:
I'll see you at the group if you choose to join. Note that you will need to
register with LinkedIn first if you're not already because I host the
group on LinkedIn's forum space. Please put in your LinkedIn profile your current or past administrative positions so I will
know you are an administrative assistant or executive assistant and
approve your membership quickly into the discussion group. That's how I
limit the group to administrative professionals (and also recruiters and
hiring managers of administrative professionals with potential jobs for
admins).

(Again, you will need to register at LinkedIn first if you're not already on

Once there, don't forget to go to the "Promotions" tab in the
group to request your free sample of The Effective Admin newsletter. The offer
is for group members only.
