A typical day on the job:  Open office; make sure printers/copier/fax have paper – deliver faxes; sort/deliver mail; check voice mail/email messages – return critical/follow up on others throughout day; inventory/order supplies; type correspondence/employee paperwork; check time/attendance on hourly staff for missing punches; enter changes into calendars (I supported 5 at one time); field/respond to requests for meeting room scheduling; assist/train staff – either in office or over telephone on operating software (Word or Excel) or telephone (voice mail, beeper); deliver personnel paperwork for signatures/pick up paperwork deliver to HR; schedule interviews;
