A typical day on the job:  Our department is very busy, because we conduct testing for the CCEMTP (which is a big training) throughout the US including Canada, so preparing the testing materials require a lot for the instructor that is giving the course at various locations..

 

Positive things about being an administrative professional in this industry:  Delegating, cross training with the professionals (soft skills)

 

Negative things about being an administrative professional in this industry:  Sometimes I wished I had another admin to take on another aspect of the job.

Primary responsibilities as an administrative professional in this position:  Telephones, calendar management, expense reports, inventory
